I live in Crown Point with my parents and I am the 2nd oldest of 5.
There are many things that draw me towards the possibility of priesthood. One of the main things that draws me is the amount of love and blessings that a priest can provide for people’s lives. A priest is literally a channel in which God sends His love and mercy. I always saw it very amazing how one man has the ability to help multitudes of people find God in their faith journey through participating in the Eucharist, hearing confessions, and many of the other sacraments. I want to give my life to God just as St. Pope John Paul II and St. Maximilian Kolbe did.
One of my favorite scripture passages was one I learned from my Kairos retreat: “Be still and know that I am God” Psalm 46:10.
